Help Support the Family of Mignon Renee Brown-Massey

On August 13, 2025, our beloved friend and coworker, Darnell, suffered an unimaginable loss when his sister, Mignon Renee Brown-Massey, was tragically taken from us at just 36 years old.

This sudden loss has left Darnell and his family heartbroken. As the crime remains unsolved, they are left with more questions than answers, adding to the pain of this already devastating time. Our hope is that by coming together as a community to ease the financial burden, we can offer the family a small measure of comfort as they mourn and search for justice.

Mignon was more than a victim of senseless violence — she was a loving mother, a devoted daughter, a hard worker, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She dedicated her days to caring for others’ beloved pets as a pet care provider and groomer, and she worked tirelessly as an Amazon delivery driver to provide for her family. Above all, she was the proud and loving mother of her 11-year-old son, Nemion.

We’ve set a goal of $10,000 to help the family cover funeral costs and provide support for young Nemion as he and the family navigate the road ahead. Every dollar raised will go directly toward honoring Mignon’s memory and easing the financial strain on her family.

A Visitation will be held at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery in Brentwood, MD on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 12:30 to 1:30 followed by a celebration of life at 1:30pm. On behalf of Darnell and the entire Brown-Massey family, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity.
