On the quiet afternoon of Friday, March 22, 2024, the world lost a beacon of faith and courage—Kelly, a beloved wife, mother, and friend to many.
Kelly's battle with cancer was long and arduous, but despite the challenges, her spirit remained unbroken, sustained by an unwavering faith and the hope of eternal peace. Six weeks before her passing, when the doctors informed her and her family there was nothing more medically possible, it was Kelly's faith that provided her with the strength to embrace her journey's end with grace and peace.
"Surrender" was a word that God placed upon her heart, a concept difficult for any of us to accept. Yet, it was the reminder that "we walk by faith, not by sight," from 2 Corinthians 5:7, that truly gave Kelly the peace she needed to face her final days with courage. She knew she was heading to a home "not made with hands, eternal in the heavens," ready to meet her Lord and Savior, her best friend, Jesus.
Throughout her fight, Kelly dedicated herself to creating memories for her children and to leaving a legacy of her faith and journey. She spent countless hours recording messages, writing, and even working on a book to share her story of resilience, faith, and the belief that death is neither failure nor final.
This GoFundMe campaign aims to honor Kelly's memory and support her husband and children during this challenging time. Your contributions will help cover funeral expenses and ongoing living costs. Ensure that Kelly's children can continue pursuing their dreams without financial burden, and show them how God can use others to bless those going through difficult times.
We also ask for your prayers for peace and healing for those who loved Kelly, as we believe in the profound impact of prayer. Kelly hoped that everyone might come to know Jesus as she did—a source of eternal hope and salvation.
Thank you for considering donating to support Kelly's family during this loss. Your generosity, prayers, and messages of support are invaluable.
