Help support the family of Chris Duran

Christopher Duran, 37, passed away unexpectedly August 7, 2024.

His passing is a shock to us all, and we are deeply saddened by the loss of such an extraordinary person. Chris was the epitome of kindness and dedication, both as a family man and a colleague. His infectious laugh and unwavering commitment to his family were just a few of the qualities that made him special.

Those who knew Chris can attest to the genuine warmth and generosity he brought to every interaction. Chris was a proud father, affectionately calling his daughter, Lennon, “rice cake,” and a devoted husband to Lori and stepfather to Isaiah, as they were eagerly anticipating the arrival of their third child. Chris’s joy when talking about his growing family was unmistakable.

As a consultant, contractor, and an adjuster, Chris was meticulous and deeply committed to helping others during their most challenging times. He had an incredible ability to tell the stories of those he helped, ensuring their voices were heard and their needs met.

His love for cooking on the smoker was one passion he generously shared with others. He was always willing to talk about his trials and errors when it came to cooking. 

Chris was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan.

Chris’s story will continue through the memories we all hold dear. We will do our best to support Lori, his stepson Isaiah, his daughter Lennon, and their new addition on the way during this incredibly difficult time, just as Chris supported everyone he met.

Rest in peace, Chris. We miss you so much.

All funds raised will go directly to Lori Duran to support their family. 

A memorial service for Chris will be held August 17th at 4pm at Discovery Life Church 1625 Collins Hill Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. All are welcome to attend.
