On September 8, 2025, our beloved Carl DeGross, age 33, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away unexpectedly. Carl was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle whose larger-than-life personality touched everyone who knew him. His legendary humor, fierce loyalty, and deep love for his family and friends made him unforgettable.

Carl leaves behind his wife, Meagan, and their two young children, Lauren and Leo. He was the heart of their home and the primary provider for his family. His sudden passing has left a tremendous void—not only emotionally, but also financially—as his loved ones face the difficult road ahead without him.

Carl’s joy in life was creating memories with those he loved most—camping, hiking, fishing, and filling every space with laughter. While his spirit will live on in the traditions he created, the financial burden of his loss weighs heavily on his family during this time of grief.
