Help Support the Estrada Family

One of our very own Kadlec caregivers is currently fighting a critical battle against COVID while her newborn baby girl remains in the NICU.

Mireya Estrada was taken to the Emergency Room by her husband Julian early on the morning of January 1st. Julian shared she was taken for an emergency c-section and then required ventilator support in the ICU the last week. Most recently, she was life flighted to OHSU this week and is being cannulated for ECMO today.

Julian remains at home in the Tri-Cities with their 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter; baby girl is doing well and progressing in the NICU.

The family would appreciate your prayers and support at this time. Julian explained Mireya has always enjoyed caring for patients and loves her job at Kadlec, that she will want to return here when she is back to good health and has aspirations to attend nursing school in the future.
