One week ago, our Hampton friends were having the time of their lives in Costa Rica, when something went terribly wrong. Michael suffered a horrific accident in the ocean which resulted in crushed vertebrae, broken ribs, punctured lungs, and temporary paralysis in his lower extremities. They spend a day in a Costa Rican hospital which is a place you never want to be, then a long and painful flight home going straight to the ER. Doctors said it was a miracle he is alive. Surgery, long hospital stays, and months of PT in hopes to make a full recovery. They have two sons in school and trying to manage this all. They are not ones to ask for handouts, but we know they have such a long road ahead. Please help our friends during this very difficult time. Anything will help.
