Hi! We are Zac and Anna, local owners of The Cheeseboard, a board game cafe. We just signed a commercial lease in Black Mountain, NC and we are working hard to open in early November!

We will serve gourmet grilled cheeses, other cheese related fare, and most importantly, provide a space to engage with one another over food and a collection of nearly 300 games (and growing!). We believe screen-free entertainment is critical for all ages and hope we can provide a space where all are welcome to come and hang out!

Opening a new business is exciting, and also comes with a lot of unknowns. Donations are not expected, but if you believe in our dream of having a local, family-fun, community space with great food and entertainment that encourages connection, the support would mean a lot.
