Help support the Simandl Family

On Sunday,  March 15th, Mike began having flu-like symptoms and was subsequently admitted to the hospital on Thursday, March 19th at which time his respiratory status continued to decline.  He was diagnosed with COVID-19, placed on a ventilator and is still requiring a lot of support and is in critical condition. Please consider donating to the Simandl family to help defray Mike’s medical costs and ease their financial burden. 

We realize many people are struggling right 
now financially with this global crisis so of course only ask for prayers if you are unable to donate at this time. Please stay home to prevent the spread of this terrible virus as Mike picked this up in the community and had not travelled or had any other risk factors.

I am providing this additional info as required by Go Fund Me. I am Angie Santella of Lisle, IL, and I am a nurse who used to work with Theresa Simandl at Lutheran General Hospital. The intended use for funds raised isto help defray medical costs for Mike’s treatment as well as help the Simandl Family supplement lost income.  All monies will be made immediately available to Theresa Simandl as outlined by Go Fund Me.
