What a day it’s been with ups and downs on so many levels. Emotions are so high as the fear of the unknown continues to progress as TBI symptoms are the worst coming up in the next 24-48 hours.

Today they did change his sedation meds to the higher concentrate so he’s in the deepest sleep he can be now. His brain doesn’t like certain things but the doctors and his entire team are switching things up as his numbers continue to change in all areas. His BP is high right now but they are elevating it to keep his brain happy.

He started getting some nutrition via a feeding tube and they are monitoring his digestion. Not much to update yet as he had his first feeding not too long ago.

I have looked into other trauma 1 centers and spoken with professionals and feel he is where he should be and we have a lot of faith in the team we have gotten to know as they care for someone who they can see is loved so deeply.

With that said, prayers are still wanted now more than ever and my girls think it’s pretty cool to see people sending them #Burystrong bracelets are being dusted off and worn again! Doesn’t matter which Bury, the mission is the same-FIGHT!!

Thanks to all who continue to graciously donate on the go fund me Haille’s beautiful friend started for expenses to and from the hospital and keeping Brandon’s bills paid while he is unable. There is a benefit account at First Premier Bank set up if you prefer to donate there but we are really just as grateful for all the prayers! If you have a church or friend prayer group, please add Brandon to the list.

We are not giving up hope that it’s not if Brandon will wake up, it’s when he will and what he’s going to say when he sees us all standing there!! That’s our mantra as a family…not if, when!
