Help Support the Bracken Family on Julia’s road to recovery

Hi my name is Sonia Jefferies and I met Suzanne through Water Therapy and we became friends immediately, Suzanne was an amazing instructor and she helped me at a very difficult time in my life and now I would like to do the same for her and her family.

To those that know Ev and Suzanne Bracken you are aware that the last year and a bit they have been dealing with a few big changes in their lives and on Wednesday May 7th the biggest change of their lives happened, when their daughter Julia was involved in a very bad accident while driving a motorcycle. She was transported to Sunny Brook hospital in life threatening condition and within the first two weeks she under went a number of surgeries that will change how she lives her life going forward.

Julia will be spending awhile in the hospital and as her recovery moves forward there will be many things needed such as physiotherapy, other modes of therapy, braces or walking aids and possibly changes within the home. Suzanne will not be able to return to work as she will now be Julia’s full-time care giver. There is also the cost of traveling back and forth to the hospital and paying for parking. They also have the worry of their son Justin and dog Axel while they are having to spend so much time at the hospital.
