Friends and family,
A few days ago on February 28th, our sweet friends Davy and Inger Baysinger welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world. The cesarean birth went as planned and the new family spent a few days recovering in the hospital in Nashville, including the evening of the terrifying tornados. They arrived home on Tuesday, March 3rd and spent the next few days getting to know their new baby girl.
Sadly, on the evening of Thursday March 5th, Inger was unexpectedly rushed to the emergency room due to chest and jaw pain. After multiple EKG’s, blood test, and painful and invasive tests, it was confirmed that Inger had experienced a heart attack. Thankfully, future surgery is not needed, but Inger’s road to recovery will be long and heavy.
Along with your prayers, we want to eliminate any financial pressure and would love to raise at least $3,000. All contributions are greatly appreciated and will help to alleviate any financial burdens (medical expenses, travel, food, lost income) during this difficult time.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous outpour of love and support. Please, please keep them in your prayers as this entire week has been a lot of enormous highs and devastating lows. Pray for this to be the end of the chaos and for them to enjoy the sweet newness of their little girl! Pray for their minds to find peace with all of the unexpected challenges, and for their family to grow closer through all this.
Thanks, y’all! Love you so much!
PS: In addition to this Go Fund Me, we have also set up a Meal Train to assist the Baysingers (link below). There are still a few dates open, and we are considering adding more dates due to the unexpected emergency.
