Help Support the Barlow Family

The Geiger Family is putting together this fundraising effort to support the Barlow family during the sad and tragic loss of a wonderful wife and mother, gone far too soon. Karynn was an amazing human being with a huge heart. She is someone that we will miss and love forever.

Karynn was not only loved as a wife, mother, daughter, and sister but as a teacher and friend to many people in the her community. For those that knew her well, they knew her as a generous and caring friend and person that only wanted what was best for everyone else. The love of family and friends meant everything to Karynn and that was always on display. Sadly, on February 27, 2022, we all prayed as Karynn passed into Heaven where she will watch down on those who loved and cared for her in return. Not only leaving behind her husband Ben and children, Carson & Myah, she also leaves hundreds of students from Kent Roosevelt High School that she always loved and cherished teaching. Karynn had a positive impact on her students during her successful teaching career and the legacy she leaves behind will be remembered by many of the lives she touched. We should all hope that we can strive to exemplify similar traits in our personal lives and ensure that our own actions leave such a positive effect on those around us.

While the Barlow’s grieve, the Geiger’s would like to ask for support that can be given to Karynn’s family as they work through what will surely be some of their toughest times. The challenges that lie ahead will be met head on but whatever donation you can afford in Karynn’s memory will help support the family in many ways. It’s difficult to understand why someone with so much love in their heart, that gave so much to so many in such a short time spent with us, is gone so early. Whether crossing paths with Karynn everyday or only touching base once in a while, Karynn was someone that always took the time to listen and share. She was a genuine and beautiful person that will be sadly missed.
