Hi everyone,

We are fundraising for our brand-new Amesbury Juniors U7s football team – the Cobras! ⚽

The team has only been running for a few weeks, but already these boys are showing amazing teamwork, energy, and passion for football. With the dedication and support of their coaches, the Cobras are off to a brilliant start in their football journey.

As a brand-new grassroots team, we currently have very little equipment. The boys are giving their all on the pitch, but when it comes to breaks or bad weather, we have nowhere for them to sit or shelter. That’s why our first fundraising goal is:

• Folding bench seats so the team can sit together when they’re not on the pitch.

• A pop-up shelter to keep the boys dry and comfortable during matches and training in the Great British weather!

Our Target: £170

That’s all we need to kit the team out with their first set of benches and a shelter! Every penny will go directly towards making this happen.

The Cobras Take on Salisbury Parkrun!

On Sunday 26th October, the boys will be taking on Salisbury junior parkrun to raise money towards this goal. At just 6 years old, this is a big challenge for them but they’re determined to complete the run together as a team. Every donation will help cheer them on and get them closer to their target.

And this is just the start watch this space, because we’ll be planning more fun fundraising activities in the weeks to come!

Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards providing the Cobras with the equipment they need to feel like a proper team. With your support, we can give these young players the best start in grassroots football and keep their love of the game growing.
