Help Support the Algar’s

Ray and Amanda Algar have 3 young girls; Hannah who is 7 and twin 4 year olds Keira and Amelia. Both Keira and Amelia have a rare genetic disorder called Rett syndrome. For the past 8 weeks the girls have both been in different hospitals due to seizures and breathing difficulties. Keira is on the mainland at Children’s hospital with her mom while Amelia is being treated at Victoria General hospital with her dad by her side. This has put a large burden on the family as the parents need to take time off work to be with their girls in different cities. Let’s take some financial burden off these parents so they can spend their energy focused on supporting these young girls. The funds will be used to support travel back and forth for the family as well as day to day expenses while these parents take time away from their jobs to be with their daughters.
