Help Support Teresita and Her Family Through Her Fight With Cancer

We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear family member, Teresita (Terry) Fujihira Torres, who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and stage 2 breast cancer. Both are aggressive and life-altering. Since her diagnosis in April, she has been courageously fighting through the early stages of treatment. Her care plan includes six months of chemotherapy and radiation, which will span the course of an entire year.

While the family has been doing their best to manage everything on their own, the financial burden is becoming overwhelming. Medical expenses are growing rapidly, and many of the essential supplies she needs to maintain her quality of life, like medical equipment, medication co-pays, personal protective equipment, and items not covered by insurance, are adding up.
