With heavy hearts, we want to share an important and evolving update about our beloved Tatiana.
Over the past few weeks, Tatiana has been on an emotional and complex medical journey. Initial testing led to concerns for colon cancer, followed by results suggesting it was not cancer—bringing a wave of relief. However, after further evaluation, her care team has now confirmed that the tumor is cancerous.
What we do know is this: Tatiana has a large cancerous tumor causing a 66% blockage in her bowel, along with endometriosis affecting the same area. As of now, her next steps will include major surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation as part of her treatment plan (order to be determined).
As you can imagine, this has been a whirlwind of uncertainty, fear, hope, and resilience. She has not been able to work due to physical sickness and will be out quite a bit longer now to fight and recover!
If you have ever called or visited M2B, there is a very high chance Tatiana was the warm, friendly voice on the other end of the phone or the smiling face helping you get scheduled. She has a true gift for making people feel heard, safe, and cared for. She has spent countless hours supporting patients through vulnerable moments with empathy, kindness, and patience.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already donated, shared, and supported Tatiana during this time. Your generosity and kindness mean more than words can express.
As Tatiana prepares for surgery and the road ahead, she will be facing significant medical expenses, along with time away from work to focus on healing. We are asking our community, friends, and family to continue coming together to help lighten this burden.
100% of the funds raised will go directly to Tatiana to help cover medical costs and support her during time off for treatment and recovery. Every contribution—no matter the size—truly makes a difference.
If you are able to donate, we are deeply grateful. If you have already given, thank you—please consider sharing this page to help us reach even more people. And if you are unable to give at this time, sharing and keeping Tatiana in your thoughts means the world.
Thank you for helping us show up for someone who has shown up for so many.
With love and gratitude,
Dr. Tara, Dr. Kylee, and the M2B Team
