Help Support Tanner’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Why am I starting this GoFundMe for my friend Jeni and Tanner?
My name is Amoris, and I’ve been a close friend of Jennifer Harris for over 30 years. In fact, I was in the room when Tanner was born and it pains me to know what he and his family are now going through.
As a mom myself, I can’t imagine the pain of watching your child go through something like this, especially while facing financial hardship on top of it. This family is made up of incredibly hardworking, generous people who have always shown up for others in times of need. Now, they need us to show up for them.
About Tanner and his family:
Tanner is a devoted husband to Qatira and proud new father to a beautiful baby boy, Hunter. He’s the kind of person who lights up a room with his smile and puts his family above all else. Now, he’s facing the biggest challenge of his life — and he needs our support.
Tanner has a tumor, about the size of a peach, in his liver. Over the past several months, the tumor has caused serious complications — making it difficult for him to eat, keep food down, or maintain any level of normal activity. He hasn’t been able to work since last fall due to how sick he’s been feeling.
This month, due to the inability to work and mounting financial strain, Tanner and his family are being forced to move out of their home.
Soon, Tanner will undergo major surgery to remove the tumor, and both his older brother Gavin and his mom Jennifer will be traveling to Utah to begin the donor screening process. Only one of them will be chosen as the donor, but both will need to take time off work during the testing period. If one is selected as the match, and the transplant is needed, they will be out of work for several weeks during the surgery and recovery process.
This GoFundMe has been created to support Tanner and his family during this critical time. Your generosity (ANY amount) will help cover medical expenses, travel and accommodations, and give this incredible family one less thing to worry about as they focus on healing and recovery.
Please donate if you’re able, and share this campaign with others who may want to help. Every bit of support means the world.
Thank you for being part of Tanner’s journey.
