Dear Family, Friends, Neighbors, Loved Ones, and Strangers alike:

It is with a heavy heart that we ask for your assistance in this darkest hour our little family has ever experienced. As many of you know, our Mom, Tammy, has been diagnosed with advanced stage small cell carcinoma in her lungs. To say we’re all shell-shocked would be an understatement. However, we are not without hope! We know and believe that all things are possible through the power of our Lord Jesus! We pray now that He might use some of you to bless us with a miracle.

Those of you that know us also know that Dad drives a truck, and has for the better part of 35 years. He must continue driving in order to keep the bills paid and lights on while Mom undergoes the fight of her life. It is his greatest wish, and that of his children, that he could be home with Mom while she braves chemotherapy and radiation. FMLA will grant him twelve weeks at home, but without pay. Chemotherapy, we believe not coincidentally, is also spread over a twelve week period. What we ask is that you help us bring him home. If you know him, you know he is not in the business of asking for or accepting handouts. The man has fought, scraped, and clawed for every penny he’s ever had, and yet nearly all of that has been for the benefit of us, his children.

Our goal is to cover twelve weeks of his normal earnings. Not one penny more. Anything you can offer would be an immense blessing to him and our ailing mother, and to us as well. There is no amount too small as to not earn our sincere gratitude, and that will not be multiplied to abundance by the Lord. If you cannot aid us monetarily, your prayers would be equally appreciated.

Please, help us bring Dad home. Help us bring a loving husband home to his sick wife. God bless you and keep you all.
