Many of you know that I would do just about anything for my pets, and I have always known that this trait comes from my parents. Last week, this was solidified for me when my mother had to rush her dog to the emergency vet. 

My mom took Sully to the vet hospital after he woke her up with a strong cough and vomiting bile and blood. After a number of tests and 2 liters of liquid drained from around Sully's lungs, he was diagnosed with Idiopathic Chylothorax. The great news is that this is likely reversible with surgery...for another $6,000.

It was no question to my mom that if Sully's condition could be cared for, she was going to do it. So, Sully is going into surgery this Friday. Because of the incredible financial impact of this decision, my sister and I decided that we want to help our mom in whatever way we possibly can. As a result, we opted to create this GoFundMe asking for a bit of help.
