The synopsis:

Seventeen-year-old Lily has always felt caught in the emotional tug-of-war between her overbearing mother Claire and her quietly reserved father Ben. When the pressure from Claire becomes too much, Lily moves in with Ben, hoping for space, but finding only silence and uncertainty. Her once-vibrant painting has stalled, just like her ability to speak up for herself.

As Claire continues to intrude through voicemails and unannounced visits, Ben and Lily tiptoe around their own fractured bond. The house is quiet, but the emotional noise is deafening. When a confrontation finally forces long-buried feelings to the surface, Lily must choose between living out her parents’ unresolved ambitions or carving her own path—one brushstroke at a time.
