Finally Closing the Gaps in Education!

Although the minimal goal we have listed to reach currently is $30,000, we really need a lot more to fully see this project through as we envision. We know with your financial and moral support, the learning platform we have designed will change the world of education for English Language Arts. We have the most talented educators, curriculum designers/instructional designers on board to join us as they also see the need for something to drastically change. There are HUGE problems in the world of education. We have a solution to help catch students up in ELA and show them that learning can be FUN!

Keep in mind, large donations will not be taken lightly. We intend to offer the program wherever in the country/world you want to offer it. Also, we are open to professional advice, and other opportunities for growth, such as investments (rather than donations) etc. Please watch the video and read more below, so you can understand the importance of how your donation/support can help us. Strive2Write's Mission and Pilot Launch:

Strive2Write is a small educational business, with BIG goals for the future of education.

Srive2Write's mission is to offer students applicable skills and strategies for reading comprehension and writing composition, fostering confident leaders of the 21st century. We embrace each student's unique learning styles and offer creative outlets throughout our learning platform as well.

Strive2Write will be launching a “Pilot” for the 2023/24 school year, but desperately needs financial assistance to proceed. We have 2 schools thrilled to join us. However, because we are implementing Strive2Write as a "Pilot", we are offering it for an incredibly low price, which still puts the business (aka my family) at a financial risk.

With more funding, hopefully reaching our minimum goal of $30,000 by the end of August, we will be able to hire more teachers/designers to help develop parts of the program. This will allow us to make the Year 1 Strive2Write pilot as incredible as we intend for it to be! If the 2023/24 school year is a success, and we are sure it will be, we will have gathered data on the effectiveness of the learning platform, strengthened our credibility, and it will only blossom from there! We believe it has the potential to be the next best reading and writing program on the market and your donations will offer us a much need financial KICK START!

The Background:

After returning to in-person teaching after the 2021 school year, I experienced the need for some major changes to take place in education. After working in both urban and suburban school districts in Massachusetts, I continued to find it hard to understand how in the 21st century there was STILL an absence of an ELA curriculum that would guide students in both reading, writing and grammar. Teachers were constantly pulling from several different resources/programs every day, trying to align their teaching objectives to the ELA standards, and lacking confidence in the effectiveness. It was (and still is) incredibly stressful for all. When I was back in the classroom after the pandemic, it was nearly impossible to meet the demands of students' academic and social-emotional needs.

The gaps in education are SO BIG, especially within ELA, and students are falling short in their abilities to properly comprehend what they are reading and write in any organized form. You will see it on the standardized test scores from this past school year...guarantee!!! It is sad to think that students, especially those who lived through the Covid19 Pandemic crisis, may never be given the opportunity to catch up if something isn't done to fix this problem immediately. As a teacher, having lived through this experience and trying desperately to solve the problem in my own classroom, I felt compelled to find a solution.

Looking Ahead:

Strive2Write is the ultimate solution to teacher burnout and finally accelerating learning for students. The Strive2Write learning platform is crucial to the educational sector. The learning loss due to the Covid19 Pandemic STILL exists and teachers NEED to have access to more structured and impactful resources to support their students at many different levels. I am sure it will take larger agencies much longer to complete what we have already developed. Strive2Write is unlike anything currently on the market. It would be so sad to see more established companies do something similar 5 years from now because they have the funds to do it; whereas, Strive2Write has the design, vision, resources, and professional talent ready to go NOW!

While assisting me, the founder and lead teacher, in my Strive2Write entrepreneurial endeavor, you can be assured that you will be supporting teachers and students more than you can imagine!

If you are on the fence about donating, I encourage you to reach out to me directly. We would love to share with you the curriculum outline, the business plan and example lessons and resources. It's too good to just put out to the public :)!

Remember, for each $5,000 donation, we can offer the pilot program to a school of your choice. If you donate $10,000-pick two schools etc. If you support a statewide effort, we can offer the program at a discounted price of $1,000/school. Any donation, big or small is helpful. If the donation is less than $5,000 (maybe you can find a group of 5 to each donate $1,000); either way, please let us know what school/city/town/state etc. you would like to see supported and we will do our best to consolidate funds, make it happen, and keep you posted. We can also offer the learning platform to struggling countries that are desperate for access to impactful educational resources.
