Help Support Steven Balds Recovery After Serious Knee Injury

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our friend, player and all-around top lad, Steven Bald, who has unfortunately suffered a serious injury during a friendly football match last night against Penicuik Athletic 20’s.

Steven sustained a broken knee as well as a torn ACL, which will require surgery and a lengthy recovery period of 9 to 12 months. As many of you know, Steven is self-employed, which means this injury doesn’t just affect his health — it also leaves him unable to work and without income for the foreseeable future.

To make matters worse, Steven had a long-awaited holiday/friends wedding already planned and paid for, which he will now have to cancel due to the extent of his injury.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to:

• Help cover basic living costs while he’s unable to work

• Support rehabilitation and medical expenses

• Soften the blow of missing out on his well-earned holiday
