Help Support Stephanie Foster's Boys
Donation protected
My sister, Stephanie Foster, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday January 11th at the age of 40, and leaves behind two boys Peyton (13) and Colton (8). Stephanie was a dedicated mother and beloved first grade teacher at Burnside Elementary School in Burnside Kentucky for the past 15 years.
It's not easy to sit down and write this - her death is a shock to her family, friends, coworkers, and community. Nobody expects to lose someone this young, vibrant, and joyful so early. Everyone who ever knew her has loads of stories about her kindness, passion, joy, and overall good nature. When you spent any amount of time around Stephanie, you walked away wishing it had gone on longer. We all know that the world isn't fair, but rarely are we personally faced with such a stark example of just how unfair it can be.
Everybody who was around Stephanie knew that her boys were her everything. Nobody was as proud to be a mom as she was, and nobody loved their babies more. That's what makes this situation so especially tragic and devastating. These two boys have already been dealt a lot of tough cards in their short lives, such as their mom having to raise them by herself, and losing two loving and dedicated grandpas too young. Now they face a future without the brightest light in their lives and their greatest advocate and defender.
The boys are being cared for by their wonderful grandmother, and they will need a lot of help and support over the next few years. Many of us in the family and community are stepping in to help, and for those of us who can't be there in person to support them as they grow up, financial contributions are extremely appreciated. These two wonderful boys don't deserve the hardship they are being put through, and while we can't undo the tragedy, we can help to ease some of their challenges over the coming years.
Any amount helps, and will be deposited into a savings account set up for the boys at Forcht bank in Somerset KY. Thank you for your contribution, and help us help these boys.
