Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a truly special place, Stateside Deli — a local restaurant that has not only served incredible meals for the past six years, but has also poured love, time, and generosity into our community every step of the way.

Recently, disaster struck when the restaurant’s walk-in cooler failed, causing them to lose all of their food inventory. As you can imagine, this is not just a major financial hit — it also means several days of lost business and income for a small, hardworking team who already gives so much of themselves.

The owners of this restaurant, Danielle and Rachel, have always put others first. Over the years, they’ve:

• Sponsored multiple families each Thanksgiving and Christmas, making sure they had full holiday meals

• Fed an entire floor of hospital staff at the local children’s hospital during the height of the COVID pandemic

• Hosted school supply drives and community giveback events

• Supported countless causes, families, and individuals without ever asking for anything in return

Now, they need us.

As an employee, I’ve seen firsthand the heart and hustle behind this business. I’m starting this fundraiser because I want to do my part — and I’m hoping our community will too. The funds raised will go toward replacing the lost food, repairing or replacing the cooler, and helping the restaurant get back on its feet as quickly as possible.
