Help Support Skylah's Battle Against Bone Cancer

Donation protected
Hey, my name is Maddison & this is for a little girl I hold extremely close to my heart, so please take a moment to read my below gofund me.

On August 2nd 2025, Skylah became unwell, and her mother, Jessica, took her to John Hunter Hospital, initially believing she had RSV or the flu. After Skylah mentioned leg pain, further investigations and scans were conducted.
On August 5th, Jessica received the heartbreaking news no parent ever wants to hear: Skylah had been diagnosed with bone cancer. Following additional biopsies and testing, it was confirmed that the cancer is localized to her thigh — a small relief in an otherwise devastating diagnosis.
Not only this, but on August 1st, Jessica's mother, Margaret, recieved the devastating news that she has been diagnosed breast cancer, and unfortunately cannot be here to support Jessica & the kids while receiving her own medical treatments so Jessica is facing this all alone.
As of today August 20th, Skylah has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer that begins in the cells that form bones. She is now facing a challenging journey ahead, including intensive chemotherapy and the possibility of losing her leg.
This GoFundMe has been created to support Jessica and her family during this incredibly difficult time. As a single mother of four, Jess is the sole provider for her family. While she remains by Skylah’s side throughout treatment and hospital stays, she will also need support caring for her other three children at home.
Funds raised will go towards easing the financial burden on Jessica — helping with everyday essentials like rent, food, school needs, clothing, and items Skylah may need during her treatment and recovery.
Many of you have watched Skylah grow and thrive while living with MPS I Hurler Syndrome — a rare condition she's faced with remarkable strength and determination. Now, she’s preparing to face this new battle with the same courage. We believe in her and know SHE WILL SHOW CANCER WHO IS BOSS!
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity. Every contribution makes a difference.
