My name is Amy Witchek-Willis and I am raising funds for my incredibly hard-working and loving husband, Leslie Willis, affectionately known as Skeeter. He had been dealing with a sore throat since the beginning of the year and in April was diagnosed with inoperable esophageal cancer. Since then, he has dealt with the removal of all of his teeth, chemotherapy, radiation, and infusions. He has lost 65 lbs while dealing with a feeding tube due to his inability to eat from the damage to his esophagus.

Skeeter has maintained working in every way possible to provide for his family as a one-income household after depleting our savings for medical expenses. Skeeter has been in construction his entire adult life. He is currently laying water and sewer lines as the operator and foreman of Freeman Construction out of Tiffin, Iowa, a company he has been with for over 22 years. He takes great pride in the fact that he comes from a long line of hard-working construction families.

He is also very dedicated to his family, which includes me, 9 kids, and 18 grandkids and helping to watch and care for some of our precious grandkids. He loves his three dogs, fishing, shooting pool, and riding his motorcycle.

We know all families go through difficulties and we appreciate any prayers and/or financial assistance you have the ability to provide. We know we can’t do this on our own. We are forever grateful to our family and friends, for the mercy and goodness of God, and to all of you reading this for your kindness.
