Sierra - Dance World Cup Portugal
Sierra was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 3. After 2 years of intensive early intervention her mother Nicole put her into dance to assist with coping with her extreme sensory processing challenges.
Over the years dance has become a huge part of Sierra’s life. It has enabled her to cope with day to day life and the extra challenges that children with this disorder face. No one ever expected this.
Sierra is now 12 years old and with all her hard work, commitment and devotion to her “dream” she has been selected as a soloist in Team Australia in June 2019 for the Dance World Cup in Portugal.
Sierra trains for over 15 hours a week and competes regularly in competitions throughout Sydney and interstate.
I am posting this page for Sierra in hope to help fund her trip to Portugal. Sierra is like my 2nd daughter and my daughter Gemma’s best friend since birth. This journey has had many tears and struggles for her family and Sierra but now this amazing result and opportunity.
Sierra’s talent is amazing and every time I watch her dance it brings tears to my eyes. I will post videos and updates.
Please help me make this gorgeous girls dream come true.
