Hello Friends,

 

Geko Jones here, and I am humbly asking for your assistance in helping to cover some the expenses for a life-saving triple-bypass surgery that my mom just had in Seattle. This marked the third procedure she has had this year and we are officially in need of outside assistance as a family.

 

Last year in April, my Aunt died of Covid and the news of her sister passing caused my mom some intense grief. The stress caused her a minor heart attack. She walked into the hospital unaware that it had occured and even managed to make some jokes about it. They operated on her immediately. About six months out, she began to experience chest pains and lathargy and went to the ER. They ended up putting in a second stint just in time.

 

These past few months, she was not showing much improvement and had become increasingly unable to complete basic tasks. After

further testing the doctors realized that the stints were not healing well and scar tissue around them was obstructing her blood flow.

 

So here we are 3 operations later, asking our friends and family to please donate what you can to help ease some of the mounting costs. She does have insurance covering the lions share but we are looking at a fresh expenses from copays and her time away from work that we could really use some help with.
