With permission from The Claridy Family, we are asking for our community’s help again, Shawn Claridy who is a White Springs local and a man of God has been facing extensive medical issues. On February 4th Mr. Claridy was hospitalized in Jacksonville, Florida at which time he was placed on life support. He was then transported to Tampa General Hospital where he underwent open heart surgery to install a heart pump, and put on the wait list for a heart transplant. At this time, Shawn has been released from the Tampa General Hospital while on Kidney Dialysis, but unfortunately has had to stay in the Tampa area for the time being. Shawn’s wife Nikki has been by his side through this entire experience, traveling back and forth. It is our hope that we can raise funds to lighten the burden The Claridy Family is facing. We also are hoping to be able to raise the funds to ensure Mr. Claridy is able to return to his home in White Springs. The Claridy’s are in need of a wheel chair ramp in order for Shawn to be able to access his home, as well as shower renovations / modifications so he is able to be at home during during his time of waiting for a heart transplants.
