❤️ Supporting Shaz On Her New Cancer Journey ❤️

over a year ago, our family received the news no one ever wants to hear Shaz had cancer. After months of fighting with every bit of strength she had, we finally believed we were in the clear. We held onto hope, celebrated the small wins, and prayed the worst was behind us.

But recently, our world was shattered again.

Shaz has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, which has now spread to her bowel (again), liver, lung, and a spot behind her heart. Hearing this was devastating, especially knowing that there are no curative treatment options available this time.

However, Shaz is not giving up. She will be starting immunotherapy, a treatment that gives her a fighting chance but it comes with a very high cost, especially if she doesn’t meet the strict criteria required for coverage.

Shaz is the heart of our family: a mother, mother-in-law, nan, friend, and one of the strongest women you’ll ever meet. She has faced every challenge with courage, love, and humour, and now she needs us more than ever.
