My name is Chris Patrick. My brother Shawn and I are starting this fundraiser for our brother Shane. Shane resides with his wife Connie and youngest daughter Shayne. Shane has been employed at his hometown Highway Department up until recently, due to his medical condition.

In late November of 2025, Shane hadn't been feeling well and went to be seen. His symptoms led to further testing and scans. Shane has been diagnosed with advanced stage bile duct cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Shane will be going for further diagnostics and future aggressive therapy.

Shane has been working with this diagnosis, out snow plowing and sanding for the highway department. However, working long days and being called out in the early morning hours to maintain the roads for the community, was taking a serious toll on him. Shane had to make the decision to stop working so he could focus on taking care of his health. This wasn't an easy decision. Shane loved his job and had worked so hard in training and receiving his CDL, and knew that leaving work would also lead to financial burdens.

Shane is in for the greatest fight of his life. He has been strong minded and plans to fight all the way. Shane's faith in God is a testament. He has laid this battle in God's hands while he fights the good fight.

While Shane waits for medical disability to go through, he has no income. His household income is very limited. As you can imagine this is extra stress that is adding to his illness. He still has a household to maintain, medical bills coming in and more to come, and the expense of the traveling for treatments.

First and foremost we ask that you keep Shane in your prayers and thoughts, praying for healing and the strength that he and his family need while he goes through this. If your heart is led to provide a monetary donation, Shane and all of his family would be forever grateful for your generosity and kindness.
