On Wednesday the 19th of July Shanaya was flown by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to John Hunter hospital where she was admitted to ICU with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Where she later suffered Seizures and underwent Brain scans that found Haemorrhages. Shanaya is 14 years old and has only come concious late yesterday afternoon, still very weak and they're struggling to control her levels.

Clarissa is a single mother of three Kids and now faces financial difficulties with taking time off work , medical supplies for her condition, and just everyday living costs which we all know is hard at the moment. At the moment it is unknown just how long Shanaya will be in hospital for , we are hoping to take some financial stress off Clarissa so she concentrate on getting Shanaya better.
