Help support SGT Michael Faith during recovery..

On Sunday, November 10th, at approximately 4:45 PM, SGT Michael Faith Jr. (KY Army NG) was involved in a road rage incident that resulted in him being severely injured. He was enjoying a beautiful day on his motorcycle. He was riding with his brother, SGT Austin Faith (KY Army NG), on a course they typically ride with their father on most Sundays. A part of this course includes a short stretch of Interstate 64. On this day, dad wasn’t with them. 

A person driving a sedan allegedly attempted to hit Austin. He then allegedly broadsided Michael two times. The second time he made contact, he forced Michael off of the highway, resulting in his motorcycle accident. There are tire marks at the scene that potentially indicate that the automobile involved continued to push Michael and his motorcycle off of the highway, before swerving back and leaving the scene. The driver of the sedan stopped several miles down the highway. 

Michael was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital. The following morning he had surgery repairing and reconstructing his arm. The nerve pain is pretty significant. 

The doctor came and informed him that he will not be able to return to work for at least two months. Due to the medication he will be required to take, he isn’t even able to drive.

SGT Faith was about to go on active orders. His injury has his orders on hold. He is a contractor during other times. As of the injury, he no longer has any income. Family is trying to pull together to help, but it won’t cover all of the bases. Any help would be appreciated as we find ourselves rolling into the holidays. Please help Michael until he can get back on his feet.
