Hi :-) I'm Tiff and this is my litto queen Serafina! She's about 10 months old and came into my life in April. Although she has a tiny body, her spirit is HUGE. In the short time we've been together, she's taught me true presence, divine rest w/o guilt, and given me a steady, unwavering love and trust which has changed me in countless ways.
This week, I urgently took us to the animal hospital after I woke up to her vomiting uncontrollably all morning. We ran tests and got x-rays done which showed a foreign object blocking her stomach. The vet gave her fluids to help it pass naturally, but the next day's x-rays showed it was still stuck- so we made the decision to proceed with surgery as it was causing a lot of pain and stress on her body.
I'm so incredibly grateful to say that the surgery went well and the object was successfully removed! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و Now, with the assistance of post-op meds, ample rest, and gentle pets paired with loving affirmations, we are on the beautiful journey of healing & recovery. ♡
The cost of the surgery —including the exams, X-rays, medications, post-op treatment, and the procedure itself—came out to $5,440. I would be deeply grateful for any support to help cover these expenses so I can continue focusing on her healing journey.
I’m so lucky to have such a strong support system, and I’m learning to lean into it and practice asking for support in times when it would be immensely helpful.
If you aren't able to give financially, holding us in your highest thoughts is equally appreciated. ₊˚⊹ ࿔
Thank you for being here. Sending love to all!
PS. if you're curious about what the object was, it seemed to be a big chunk of a rubber ball or similar toy that she may have eaten while I was sleeping. Although I've done my best to cat-proof my home, accidents do happen & it's safe to say that I'm going to be EXTRA diligent on this moving forwards! ✧
