Help Support Sean’s Recovery After Emergency Brain Surgery
Donation protected
Imagine collapsing at work, not knowing if you’ll wake up…
Hi everyone,
My name is Rheena, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my husband, Sean, who recently underwent an unexpected and life-changing emergency craniotomy.
On July 2nd, Sean was rushed to the emergency room after suddenly experiencing nausea, dizziness, and blacking out during his shift at work. We later learned he had suffered a seizure and was unresponsive for a time. A CT scan and MRI revealed a calcified mass in his right temporal lobe that required urgent surgery.
On July 9th, Sean bravely underwent a 12-hour craniotomy. The procedure was successful, and while we are deeply grateful, his recovery journey has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. He has been advised not to drive for at least six months, which means relying on friends, mass transit, or rides to attend frequent follow-up appointments and pick up prescriptions.

Why We Need Your Help:
We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help cover Sean’s immediate and ongoing medical needs so he can focus fully on recovery.
Your support will go directly toward:
- Paying his current hospital balance and upcoming MRI payment
- Helping with medication copays and transportation to appointments
- Preparing for additional medical expenses that may not be fully covered by insurance or charity care
Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate at this time, simply sharing this page with others would mean so much to us.
We are incredibly thankful for the love, prayers, and support from our family, friends, and community. Your kindness gives us strength during one of the most difficult times in our lives.
With gratitude,
Rheena & Sean
