Help Support Sean's Fight Against Colon Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Valerie Bianchi and I am Sgt. Sean Mackey's Sister In-law,

I am asking for your help in Sean's fight against Colon Cancer. About 2 weeks ago, Sean ended up in Bryn Mawr Hospital with what he thought was just a colitis flare-up,

3 blood transfusions later and multiple tests, Sean learned that he had a 10cm tumor the size of an egg in his colon and that time was of the essence for surgery as this was indeed a cancer diagnosis. On Wednesday, March 29th, Sean and his wife Maria met with a Surgeon at Pennsylvania Hospital to forge a plan, next Friday, April 7th he will undergo surgery, which took some serious decision-making. We won't know the stage of this cancer or if it has spread to the lymph nodes until after the surgery has taken place, but we are confident that he will be in great hands at Penn!

Sean's road to recovery will be long, as he will immediately begin Chemotherapy shortly after his procedure. I am asking for anyone that can donate, to please do so,

no amount is too small and every little bit helps, it will help to offset the costs of many bills to come. I would love nothing more than the focus of his family, his wife Maria and 3 children Taylor, Connor and Maddie to put all their energy into helping Sean cope with the new changes ahead of him!
