On Monday, April 7th, Sean woke up with what he initially thought was a pinched nerve in his left shoulder. He tried to rest, hoping it would improve, but a few hours later, the pain spread across his chest and down his arms, with the most intense discomfort in his left arm. The pain was unlike anything I had ever seen from him before—excruciating and alarming. I immediately knew we needed to go to the ER.
We rushed to the Monticello ER, where they tested his troponin levels, which came back elevated. They quickly began treating him for a heart attack, and he was transported by ambulance to Abbott Hospital to see a cardiologist and get to the bottom of what was happening.
We are still waiting for answers, but we wanted to create this GoFundMe to help with the mounting medical costs—emergency room visits, hospital stays, CT scans, MRIs, other imaging, ambulance transport, and the loss of income as both of us are missing work during this time.
Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to us as we navigate this uncertain and difficult time. Thank you for your support.
