Hi everyone!

Sasha is one of my favourite people in the world - consistent, calm, creative, kind, loves to laugh, and loyal to those she loves. She’s an amazing mum, wife to Nathan, and a truly amazing friend. Over the years, her strength has been tested in ways most of us can’t imagine, and now she faces another challenge: the return of the cancer she fought in 2018.

In 2018, Sasha was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. With absolute determination, she fought through treatment and recovery, returning to life with Nathan and their three amazing daughters, Selah (14), Oak (11), and Clay (8)

Seven years later, Sasha has received the news that the same cancer has returned, this time having metastasised to her lung. Her current diagnosis is Stage 4 colorectal cancer, with a tumour in her upper right lung which has spread to nearby lymph nodes.

We’re starting this GoFundMe because Sasha and Nathan have touched so many lives; their impact has reached far and wide, both here in Australia and overseas. Over the years, I’ve learned that while we can’t always control what life throws our way, we can choose to support one another through it. Money comes and goes, but our families, our friendships, and our community are all that matter.

This fundraiser is about giving Sasha and Nathan some breathing room. With Sasha unable to work during treatment, we want to take the financial pressure off so they can focus fully on recovery, their girls, and rebuilding.

It’s been a tough few years, from Sasha’s first cancer diagnosis, to the floods after their move north, the Mr & Mrs White factory fire, and other family cancer diagnoses. Through all of it, they’ve kept going, showing resilience and grace, serving their community and raising the best kids ever.

Our hope is simple: to relieve unnecessary pressure off them so this next chapter isn’t defined by financial stress, but by the support and care of the people who love them. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in helping Sasha recover, heal, and look ahead to a long and healthy future.

During this time, Sasha will be stepping back from her role in the family business and won’t be taking a wage. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward supporting Sasha’s recovery and her family’s daily needs, including:

* Household and living expenses while Sasha cannot work

* Specialist appointments and ongoing treatments

* An extensive supplement regimen to support her health

* Nutritious food to aid recovery

* Travel expenses to and from Sydney for surgery

* Financial support for Nathan, whose work capacity will be reduced as he cares for Sasha and their daughters

Sasha will soon undergo lung surgery in Sydney, followed by a 6–8 week recovery period and ongoing chemotherapy. Her medical team is also exploring additional treatments, including immunotherapy and potential clinical trials.
