Help Support Sascha through her Second Surgery!!!

Hello! Thanks to all of you who so generously helped me, I have been able to focus on my recovery rather than my finances! As a result, I am recovering REALLY WELL!

The Doc says I will likely be cleared to go back to work next Wednesday or Thursday...

So I'm hanging in, doing what I can to get stronger and reflecting on how fortunate I am. Thank you again to ALL of you who have contributed!

Hello Beautiful People!

My name is Sascha and as many of you may know, I am a single mom to the most extraordinary daughter in the world!!! She will be leaving for college this August, to ASU- on an academic scholarship. So PROUD! Also as many of you may know, I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer last May and recieved surgery to remove one of the tumors. Luckily, I had some savings in the bank, so I thought I could afford to miss the month (it took to recover) of work. Well I was wrong! I had to do Instacart everyday after work to just make ends meet until my back pain became too severe to continue. My back issues started a few years ago when I was caring for my beloved father. I've tried every other intervention and the Dr.s have said surgery is the only option. I never anticipated that I would need another major surgery so soon. Turns out, I do. July 10, 2023. This time, I need back surgery- I was supposed to get it last year but the Cancer popped up and had to be treated immediately. So here I am again...I need the back surgery and am going to miss at least a month of work. Disability only kicks in on week 2 and they only pay $60 per day. I pay for a 2 bedroom place for my daughter Lilly and myself and have absolutely NO other source of income or financial assistance.

I asked my work if I could possibly do any work from home but due to the nature of my work (1:1 and group counseling) I cannot really work from home, so that is not an option. I cannot think of any other way to raise funds. I would be so grateful for any contributions to get me through this (hopefully last) traumatic life event.

I really hate asking for help however I would really appreciate any type of help! I don't have many expenses as I live a simple, modest life.

I just need to be able to pay my basic bills which my current income just barely does.
