As many of you know, my mother, Sararose, has faced significant health challenges over the past few years, including two major heart surgeries. Despite her strength and resilience, she is now facing another serious medical issue — a large aortic aneurysm measuring 8.5 centimeters. This is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate surgical intervention.
Unfortunately, the necessary procedure cannot be performed here in New Brunswick. She must travel to Halifax for specialized testing and surgery. While we are grateful she can access the care she needs, the financial burden on our family is overwhelming. The province does not cover essential costs such as transportation, accommodations, or meals for our father and family members who want to support her during her hospital stay. We also don’t yet know how long she will be required to remain in Halifax for recovery.
We are humbly reaching out to ask for help. Any contribution — no matter how small — will go directly toward travel expenses, lodging, and other associated costs during this difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share this message with others.
My mother has always had one of the biggest hearts — generous, loving, and endlessly kind. She’s been there for so many throughout her life, and now we’re hoping to be there for her. Thank you for your compassion, your prayers, and your support.
**update**
sararose will be admitted to the Halifax hospital on Monday where a few more tests will be performed then surgery on Thursday. Everything is moving very fast. Thank you all for your support.
