Hi Everyone! We will be premiering a new full-length performance work, Sanctuary, as part of the 2024 Philadelphia Fringe. This show chronicles the process of finding comfort in the bodily self after traumas, tragedies, and struggles a person experiences in dysfunctional family systems. It is part autobiography, part collective healing, and a dynamic tool for finding refuge within and for the self. Our rehearsals, which started in July 2024, have been incredibly productive, and we are making great strides towards completion. We are raising money to help cover the cost of self-producing art. The proceeds will go towards all the elements of putting on a show, such as… -rehearsal space -performance space rental -costumes -payment for dancers, photographers, videographers, lighting designers, etc -event insurance -marketing -and many other facets of putting on a live production With your help, Amber Hongsermeier/Dancers can reach this goal and continue the work we’ve set out to do in this campaign.
