Help Support Sam’s medical journey

Hi everyone,

We're reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Sam Webster. Sam has just returned home after a difficult and very scary 9-day stay in the hospital on the Bone Marrow transplant floor and Oncology at Advent Health.

What started as a terrifying cancer diagnosis for the first 3 days has fortunately, been ruled out after various extensive and invasive testing. Doctors have confirmed liver and spleen damage—particularly alarming since Sam doesn’t drink alcohol—as well as an autoimmune disorder.

He’s currently stable at home, but the road to answers continues, with more bloodwork and follow-up care ahead.

To make matters more difficult, Sam is currently uninsured due to a recent lapse in coverage by only 17 days. The financial burden of his hospital stay includes a bone marrow biopsy, liver biopsy, multiple scans, hundreds of lab work tests, and consultations with numerous specialist at his bed side is overwhelming.

Sam is one of the kindest and most selfless people we know. Throughout this scary and uncertain time, he’s stayed strong and positive. We are here to relieve his burden by raising money to take the stress off of him with the mounting bills that has piled up during his stay.
