As most of you witnessed on Saturday, December 7th, Sam Gloor was involved in a serious racing accident during the CPTC ice ovals season opener resulting in a broken femur, tibia, and fibia.
He was transported to HSC and has undergone surgery. He is doing well, but will not be able to bare weight on his leg for 3 months and most likely will not be able to work for another 3 months after that. Needless to say, there is a long recovery moving forward.
With Sam unable to work and Cyn still on maternity leave with their little one, on top of recently purchasing a home, we are looking to raise enough money to cover the bills of a young family starting out for the next few months.
As the racing community knows, there are risks involved in racing that we accept, but hope never to incur.
