Help Support Salman Shinwari’s Recovery After a Tragic Car Accident

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 16-year-old Salman Shinwari of Manhattan, Kansas, was involved in a devastating head-on collision on US Highway 77 near Junction City. Salman’s vehicle hydroplanned from heavy rain and crossed the center line and collided with another car, leaving him with severe injuries that required emergency medical treatment and hospitalization.

Salman is a beloved son, student, and friend known for his bright spirit and strong character. He now faces a long and uncertain road to recovery—one that includes extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and time away from school and everyday life.
