Help Support Ryan's Fight against Cancer

Hi Family, Friends and caring individuals,

Our brother Ryan was diagnosed with a rare but treatable cancer that happens in soft tissue called Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma (UPS). He has been in pain with difficulty walking for months before the hospital found the tumor on his hip.

Ryan is a member of Community Family Church and serves there as a youth leader along with his wife, Noelle. Ryan is a teacher at Community Christian Academy where he has been the Varsity Basketball Coach for over 10 years. He calls being a basketball coach his ministry. Unfortunately, Ryan hasn't been able to start the school year yet due to his illness and we are not sure when he will be able to go back.

His treatment plan is a little complex as we wait on what steps are the best recommendation. He has been referred to Ohio State to see if they can remove the mass on his hip before Immunotherapy and Radiation. His PET scan was rescheduled since Ryan needs sedated due to him not being able to lay still for more than a few minutes at a time without being in pain.

Ryan's faith through this has been very inspiring as he continues to pray. His Bible has not left his bedside. The most difficult part at this time is Ryan not being able to be active for his son and daughter and provide for his loving and supportive wife. He has blessed so many families over the years and it’s been truly amazing to see all those returning the blessing through prayers and giving.
