Ryan is in the fight of his life. He’s battling Stage 4 colon cancer with incredible courage, and his journey has been filled with challenge after challenge—but also with hope, strength, and the deep love of his family.
In early April, Ryan underwent major surgery to remove tumors. Since then, complications have made his road to recovery far more difficult than expected. Due to ongoing infections and new health concerns, Ryan has not been able to continue his chemotherapy treatments. Most recently, a tumor in his liver caused a blockage that required an urgent endoscopic procedure to place a stent. More operations are always a possibility as Ryan’s team navigates the best way to treat his illness.
Through it all, Ryan and his amazing wife, Brianna, have faced countless long days in St. Louis for treatments and hospital stays—hours away from home and their two beautiful children, Ainsley and Eli. They’ve juggled medical decisions, logistical challenges, and moments of deep uncertainty while trying to keep life as steady as possible for their family.
The emotional, physical, and financial toll has been overwhelming.
This GoFundMe is a way for us—friends, family, and a caring community—to come together and help ease that burden. Your donation will help cover:
• Travel expenses for frequent trips to Barnes in St. Louis
• Time away from work
• Ongoing medical expenses and follow-up care
• Day-to-day needs while their focus remains on Ryan’s healing
We want Ryan, Brianna, Ainsley, and Eli to know just how loved they are. This family means so much to so many of us, and now is our chance to lift them up in a real and meaningful way.
If you’re able to give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. And if you’re not able to donate right now, please consider sharing this link to help spread the word.
To follow Ryan’s journey and stay up-to-date on his condition, Brianna keeps a detailed CaringBridge journal here:
Let’s surround this family with the strength, support, and love they need for the road ahead.
