On June 20, 2025, my son Ryan was in a car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). This accident changed everything for him and us because he can't do any of those things anymore. He was given a 0.1% chance to wake up from his coma, but he did. Since then, he has been fighting with everything he has to recover.
Ryan loved golfing and fishing, and before the accident we did these things almost every weekend. Now he has to relearn how to do everything from walking, to talking, to eating. I believe he has a real chance at recovering these things, but he'll need intensive care. Insurance is only covering some of this cost and we're responsible for everything else.
We're raising funds to cover:
Transport to a rehabilitation facility ($20,000)
Medical equipment for rehabilitation and at-home care ($10,000)
Travel and lodging costs for my wife and I to spend every day with him in recovery ($5,000)
Every dollar makes a difference. Whether it’s a donation or a share — our family is truly grateful for any support.
We’ll continue posting updates on Ryan’s condition and milestones. We are still at the beginning of a long recovery, and we are learning more about the process everyday. Thank you for helping make all of it less overwhelming.
Ryan is getting better everyday. He Contuines to work on his speech and walking each week. He is getting stronger with each therphy section. We are still working to get him to Denver by the end of September. That's when the real work begins. Thanks for your Contuined support
