For those of you who don’t know him, PSD Ryan Fraley is a man who is near and dear to our hearts. Ryan currently serves as a Public Safety Dispatcher for the South Windsor Police Department in CT. But service has always been a part of his life. Ryan also was an EMT for the Ambulance Service of Manchester and a firefighter for the Unionville Fire Department out of the Tunxis Hose Company 1 prior to becoming a dispatcher. He is the uncle of three amazing girls, a son, and a brother.

In February of this year, Ryan was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic melanoma with mets to his brain. Ryan has bravely endured two brain surgeries to begin the process of fighting this disease. He is currently undergoing immunotherapy, radiation, and steroid treatments. Despite Ryan’s best efforts, Ryan has developed a spinal tumor that has now made it so Ryan can no longer walk. We are now asking for anyone who is willing to help give back to Ryan. At 37 years old, this diagnosis has changed his life, and anything his friends and family can do to ease financial burdens, we will do.
