Our family is reaching out during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

A few years ago, our dad, Russell, bravely battled both Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis. We are deeply grateful he made it through those challenges, but they took a severe toll on his body. Last year, he was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma and underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tumor. These illnesses ultimately led to end-stage renal failure, forcing him to spend a long period on dialysis.

After years of praying and hoping, we received a blessing: Russell’s youngest daughter, turned out to be a match and courageously became his kidney donor. We are endlessly thankful for her selfless gift, which gave our father the chance at a new life.

Unfortunately, the journey has not been smooth. After the transplant surgery, our father faced serious complications that required extensive testing, follow-up procedures, and multiple hospital stays. Both he and his daughter are still in recovery, and the emotional and physical toll has been heavy.

The financial burden has also grown overwhelming. While insurance covers some costs, it cannot keep up with the mounting medical bills — from hospital stays, medicines, and procedures, to the continuing care both Russell and his donor now need.

We are asking for your support during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward easing the medical expenses and allowing our father to focus on healing, not bills.

Our family is humbled and deeply grateful for the love and encouragement we’ve already received. We want to especially thank our sister, his daughter — whose sacrifice and love have given him another chance at life.
