Help Rudy Oheltoint Sr. Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

On the morning of December 9th, 2024, my grandpa, Rudy Oheltoint Sr., lost his home of 52 years to a devastating house fire. This tragic event has left him with nothing but memories, as all his possessions were destroyed. We are grateful he made it out alive and uninjured, as he kept trying to go back into the home after the house was in flames.

My grandma, the late Barbara Ann Oheltoint, dedicated over 30 years of her life to working with the special education department/CO-OP at Anadarko Public Schools before her untimely passing during the COVID pandemic. Their home was filled with mementos of her dedication and love, including photos, home videos, and personal belongings that are now lost forever.

This loss has been particularly hard on my grandpa, a Kiowa Elder, who is now facing the immense challenge of rebuilding his life from scratch. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming, and we are reaching out to the community and friends for support.
